Revived Zak Ansah scores in Plymouth League Two playoff defeat to Wycombe
Ghanaian youngster Zak Ansah came on as a substitute for Plymouth Argyle to great effect to score in their 3-2 defeat to Wycombe in the League Two playoffs on Saturday.
The 21-year-old who is on loan from Charlton Athletic scored in the 86 minute to launch a revival for his side that were 3-0 down until then.
Ansah had only come on to replace Carl McHugh eight minutes into the restart.
Jason Banton scored a second for Plymouth three minutes later to set up a nervy finish for their visitors.
Wycombe however held on to take the vital advantage in the first leg of the playoff clash ahead of the return encounter next week.
Zak Ansah has meanwhile been transformed since joining Argyle for the second half of the season.
The former Arsenal starlet has now scored three goals in nine appearances for his new team.
