"?Liverpool have officially been crowned as the Premier League's most creative team this season, "?according to the Daily Mirror.

The newspaper revealed that the Reds have created the most goalscoring opportunities of the 20 sides in England's top tier so far this term, thanks to information obtained from prolific statisticians Opta.

Jurgen Klopp's charges have amassed a total of 112 chances created in just seven matches thus far - a statistic which isn't surprising given that they are joint-top scorers in the Premier League in 2016/17 with 18 goals.

Despite their attacking verve and panache, however, Liverpool only find themselves in fifth position in the actual Premier League table, and boast the worst 'Goals Against' column of any top 10 outfit in the top flight with 10 goals conceded.

Additionally, the fact that Anfield-based club have only racked up a goal conversion rate of 16% from those chances created means that their finishing and defensive ability could both use some work on them.

Meanwhile, current league leaders Manchester City, who are joint-top in terms of 'Goals For' with Liverpool, lie joint-third in the alternative table with 90 chances created - a position they hold with second-placed Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

Surprisingly, Arsenal and Manchester United, who currently occupy the two places above Liverpool in the league standings in third and fourth respectively, languish way behind their rivals in eighth and seventh in the Mirror's 'chances' created' table with 77 and 84 chances created.

Chelsea, who many viewed as potentially being more defensively minded under new manager Antonio Conte, also find themselves in the upper echelons of the table in second place with 93 chances created. Everton complete the top five with 88 chances laid on for team-mates to possibly score.

Meanwhile, propping up the standings at the opposite end are Hull City (36), Sunderland (43) and Middlesbrough (44), while defending league champions Leicester City lie 13th with 58 opportunities created. Finally, Stoke City, the lowest scorers in the Premier League with only five strikes, lie 17th in the alternate standings with 45 chances created.
