Remo Stars keep title chase momentum with win over Pillars
Remo Stars continued to show their intent for the title is not a mirage with another hard-fought win over Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Sky Blue Stars maintained their winning run to pip the Sai Masu Gida side 2-1 at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

The goal came through Sikiru Alimi who side-footed home a low cross by Seun Ogunribide in the 5th minute of the game.
The second goal came five minutes to the end of the first half through Ibrahim Abubakar who guided home a low ball after the goalkeeper had parried a Sikiru Alimi’s shot into his path.
Kano Pillars gave themselves the hope of a comeback after pulling one back on the stroke of 45 minutes.
Abba Adam reduced the deficit for the Sai Masi Gida with a beautifully headed goal off Abdullahi Ali's cross. His 5th for the season.
The second half produced no goal as Remo Stars were able to neutralize and remain effective to take all points.
