Real Madrid make stance clear on Trent Alexander-Arnold future
Real Madrid do not want Trent Alexander-Arnold to leave the club, according to information shared on journalist Ekrem Konur’s social media accounts.
However, the Spanish club would be prepared to consider an attractive offer if one is made for the England full-back. His salary is understood to be the main obstacle to any potential transfer.
Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid from Liverpool but has not established himself as a regular in the club’s starting line-up. The 27-year-old’s transfer value is estimated at €60m.
Despite his uncertain first-team status, Alexander-Arnold remains under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until the end of June 2031.
Real Madrid’s position means the club is not actively seeking his departure, but a financially favourable proposal could lead to discussions about the defender’s future.
