On-Loan Al Qadsia defender Rashid Sumaila, is amazed by Kotoko’s slippery start to the domestic campaign despite a bright pre-season.
Sumaila who only last night helped his Kuwaiti side to a vital 1-0 victory over Eiber in the Asian confederation cup says he is unable to comprehend what has hit his former side.
“I am really surprised with what has happened to them because I was there just some few months ago and things were ok,’” Sumaila told Ghanasoccernet.com
“But football is all about time even a second is very important.
“They get to play in the champions league and I am believing they can get their season back on track.”
Sumaila spent three months with Kotoko this season but was unable to represent them competitively due to delay in the resumption of the league.
