Striker Marcus Rashford has recovered from an ankle injury and is set to lead the Manchester United attack when they face Southampton at Old Trafford.

An ankle problem saw Rashford feature as a substitute in the 3-1 victory at Crystal Palace, with Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku handed starts - the latter making his mark by scoring twice at Selhurst Park.

He'll be ready, so I'll probably start him.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

However, interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Rashford is ready to return to the starting XI, although fellow forward Anthony Martial is not quite ready as he completes his recovery from a groin injury.

He told reporters: "It's the last training session today, but we're not going to take any risks with Anthony - it might even be a few more days before he's ready.

"So probably the squad will look similar to what it did on Wednesday.

"Rashford (is fully fit). He said he still felt it Wednesday night, but he'll be ready, so I'll probably start him."

England international Rashford scored eight goals in 13 games from early December onwards, but is without a goal in his last four matches in all competitions.

He can be backed at 5/4 to score at any time against the Saints, with United 9/20 to win the game at Old Trafford and 6/5 to keep a clean sheet.

Earlier this season the meeting of the two sides at St Mary's ended in a 2-2 draw, with all of the goals coming in an action-packed first half.
