Rasheedat Ajibade scores in season opener
Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Ajibade scored in her team Athletico de Madrid Feminino's 3-1 against Sevilla Feminine in Spanish Super Liga Feminina on Saturday.
Ajibade's goal put her team ahead in the first half with a 34th minutes strike over fellow Super Falcons mate Toni Payne’s team.
The former FC Robo forward controlled the ball from her teammate, goes pass Sevilla's defender, hits ye ball which was deflected into the net.
Inma Gabarro brought the score to equilibrium after a 50th minute strike few minutes to start of the second half.
Athletico team wasted no time to get back to the lead through Silva Ludmila who scored six minutes later after the home side scored.
She got her brace later on in the 69th minute and that all but sealed the win for the Madrid side.
Ajibade would later gave way for Andrea Staskova in the 89th minute while Payne was on for the entire duration of the game.
