Raphinha agrees four-year Barcelona deal after Premier League interest

Brazil forward Raphinha has agreed a four-year contract with Barcelona, a decision that has disappointed several leading Premier League clubs, according to TEAMtalk.

All six of the Premier League’s traditionally leading clubs were reported to have shown interest in Raphinha during 2026. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham were all linked with the 14-goal forward.

Tottenham were said to be the most active of those clubs in their pursuit of the Barcelona player.

However, Raphinha’s preference was to remain at Barcelona. His decision has also ended hopes among clubs in the Premier League and Saudi Arabia that he could be persuaded to move elsewhere.

Raphinha has made eight appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 14 goals and providing three assists.
