Raphael Onyedika's Belgian club, Club Brugge have appointed former English Premier League manger, Scot Parker as the news manager of the club on Saturday.

Brugge dismissed manager Carl Hoefkens midweek following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Oud-Heverlee Leuven.

Onyedika had had a good time under the Hoefkens who took them to a second place finish in their Champions League group, earning a round of 16 meeting with Portuguese giants Benfica.

Now he will have to adjust to life with former Fulham and Bournemouth manager to salvage the situation in the domestic league were Brugge has struggled under Hoefkens.

The reigning Belgian champions are 12 points off the pace in defence of their title and suffered a humiliating Belgian Cup exit at the hands of Sint-Truidense V.V. last weekend.

Scot Parker the first English manager in the club's history.
