Enugu Rangers and runners-up Rivers United will commence their search for continental glory when they file out this weekend against their rivals from Algeria and Mali respectively.

While Rangers confront JS Saoura of Algeria on Friday in the first leg of the first round of the 2017 CAF Champions League, Rivers United have a date with Real Bamako on Saturday.

Flying out with the blessings and full support from the Enugu state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the club, Christian Chukwu assured that the Flying Antelopes will battle to secure victory in Bamako so as to make the return leg an easier one at the Cathedral.

With the return of star player, Chisom Egbuculam to Rangers, the coach Imama Amapakabor-tutored Rangers side can boast of a full complement of players that would do the damage in Algeria.
