Former Asante Kotoko defender Rahim Ayew has questioned the timing of David Duncan’s appointment after the former took charge of his first game in the CAF Champions league.

The porcupine warriors let go Dramani who guided them to two league titles and a first ever double last season.

A poor start to the season that has seen them drop into the relegation fight meant Mas-u Dramani had to pay the ultimate price.

But Rahim Ayew says Duncan’s appointment was ill-timed

“Duncan is a good coach but for me I think they should have held on to Mas-Ud Dramani,” Rahim told Accra based Citi FM

“Look at what is happening in Dortmund but they held on to their coach.

“For me at least they should have given him the first half of the season to turns things around.”

Rahim did you consider your timing before you left the greatest and biggest club in Ghana. Even if you are right, know that for all have sin. And you are an unqualified candidate to criticise the board and management.
