Nigerian Striker, Rafiat Sule scored a brace to help her Italian Club Lumezzane remain on top of the Italian Women Serie C, Nigeriasoccernet.com report.

The Super Falcons Forward maintained her impressive scoring form in Italy, scoring in the 9th and 41st minute in the encounter against Solbiatese.

The Oyo-born player has made an instant impact, since teaming up with the team, last year and has scored 11 goals so far, with seven more matches to end the season.

“We played as a team following the instructions of our coach. This victory was by no means an easy one and it gives us even more strength to look forward to the next fundamental matches with optimism. Personally I am very happy for the two goals, but the most important thing is the victory."

Lumezzane are presently on top with 59 points and are closely followed by Orobica Calcio Begarmo, who have amassed 57 points from 23 matches played so far.

Last season, she scored more than 25 goals for Vinceza, before joining her present club.

The forward had started her football career with Jagunmolu FC and enjoyed a domestic breakthrough finishing as the Nigerian league topscorer back-to-back with 11 goals in 2015 and nine in 2016.
