Nigeria's Rafiat Folakemi Sule contributed to the sweet victory recorded by Vicenza Calcio Donne over Villorba Treviso in the Serie C Championship on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.net reports.

Vicenza defeated Villorba by three goals to nil in the group B encounter at home, ( Tavernelle di Altavilla Stadium.

Marchiori opened score for the hosts as early as the 4th minute with a wonderful team build up which saw the former Rivers Angels striker give the final pass that lead to the goal.

The Red and White continued dominance of the game, but could not add more goals as the first 45 minutes ended 1-0.

Penzo doubled the lead two minutes into the half through an header from a corner kick.

New entry Plechero scored a rebound after her first shot was blocked in the 78th minute following a pass from Penzo

The win keeps Vicenza Calcio Donne fourth on the log with 49 points while their opponents Villorba are 11th in the 16-team league standings after match day 25.

Sule who has scored 17 goals this season and her teammates will travel to play Sambenedet in their next match on Saturday.
