PSG pay €3.3m to secure priority rights on Braga midfielder Mario Dorgeles
Paris Saint-Germain have paid SC Braga €3.3m for priority rights on Ivory Coast midfielder Mario Dorgeles, according to A Bola.
The agreement gives the French club first refusal if Braga decide to sell the 22-year-old, who is regarded as one of the Portuguese side’s leading prospects. It covers all of Dorgeles’ economic and sporting rights.
Dorgeles made 39 appearances for Braga last season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. The midfielder joined the club from FC Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2025 in a deal worth €11.5m.
Under the new arrangement, PSG will have priority over any potential transfer involving the Ivory Coast international. The agreement does not represent a conventional transfer to the Parisian club, but instead gives them a privileged position should Braga receive an offer or seek to sell the player.
The deal further reflects the close relationship between the two clubs. Qatar Sports Investments, the owner of PSG, holds a 29.6% stake in Braga’s company, making it the Portuguese club’s second-largest shareholder.
Braga themselves remain the largest shareholder, with a 36.99% holding.
