Set to take part into European League of Nations for the second time, Italian international right-back and midfield all-rounder Alessandro Florenzi (30), according to latest Italian news, might be joining back, quite surprisingly, his home club indeed. Since Paris Saint-Germain aren't going to buy him back from AS Roma, Florenzi, still on a parent-club deal with Giallorossi until June 2023, can now head back and be part of José Mourinho's brand new masterplan.

Captaining AS Roma for a while, back in 2019, Florenzi, before joining French giants, and being set a 9 million euros buy-back fee upon, could have a hard time entering back his home club's plans, after a year and a half away, since not having parted with the best of wishes back then. Nonetheless, since all the clubs previously pursuing him, mainly Inter Milan and Fiorentina, don't seem interested in fetching him anymore, that might be turning out as a "no other choice" scenario, for both of the sides involved.

Keeping an exact scoring rate of one goal every ten games (28 in 280 official caps), Florenzi, so far, never won any title as a Giallorossi player.
