Paris Saint-Germain have expressed interest in signing Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, with the Nigerian striker open to a move to the French Ligue 1 outfit, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Although no official offer has been made, Itailan football news agency La Gazate is claiming that PSG have contacted Lookman's representatives to discuss a potential transfer.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form, scoring a hat-trick in Atalanta's Europa League final win last season.

With PSG seeking a replacement for the injured Goncalo Ramos, Lookman's versatility and skillset make him an attractive target.

However, Atalanta are unwilling to let their star striker go without a fight, demanding a transfer fee of at least €40 million.

As the summer transfer window draws to a close, it remains to be seen whether PSG will meet Atalanta's valuation and secure Lookman's signature.
