PSG decision looms for Dro Fernandez after Luis Enrique message

Paris St-Germain manager Luis Enrique is unhappy with the progress of attacking midfielder Dro Fernandez, who has had limited playing time this season.

The 18-year-old Barcelona academy graduate joined PSG in January, but El Nacional reports that Enrique has delivered a firm message to the player.

Fernandez has been told to improve his physical condition and focus exclusively on football. If he fails to do so, PSG will begin considering the possibility of ending their association with him.

Enrique values Fernandez’s talent but will not select him on ability alone. The manager expects his players to cope with the required pace, press effectively and maintain a high level of intensity.

According to the report, Enrique believes Fernandez does not currently possess the physical preparation needed to meet those demands.
