PSG confirm Matvey Safonov is available for Le Mans match

Matvey Safonov has been included in Paris Saint-Germain’s squad for their Ligue 1 match against Le Mans, according to the club’s official website.

PSG publish their squad lists in ascending shirt-number order rather than by position, meaning Safonov’s name appeared near the bottom of the announcement. The Russia international wears number 39 and is listed among the players available for the fixture.

French media had previously included Safonov in their predicted starting line-up despite the goalkeeper travelling to Russia for international duty.

PSG have opted to leave Ousmane Dembele and Nuno Mendes out of the squad, with both players being rested. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ferran Torres and Vitinha are among those named in the selection for the match.

PSG and Le Mans are scheduled to kick off at 21:45 Moscow time.
