Young Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Seidu Mutawakilu says he is feeling the full effect of their 2-1 loss to Medeama in the semifinal stage of the MTN FA cup.

Medeama will play Asante Kotoko in what is a repeat of the FA cup finals two years ago.

Two early goals from youngster Kwasi Donsu put the yellow and Mauves in a commanding position and despite a late penalty from Hearts of Oak defender Robin Gnagne, it could not have an impact on the game.

Mutawakilu who was restored to post in that game says he is gutted to have exited the competition.

“It’s painful to lose in the manner we did because we played very well but for the first 20 minutes and that makes the results even hard to take,” Seidu said

“But football is that way sometimes but it’s really painful to take.”

The Phobians will now switch attention to improving their position in the league following a disappointing start.
