The champions of Nigeria Women Football League, Bayelsa Queens and Ghana Women Football League champions, Ampem FC are set to lock horns in the WAFU B women's champions league qualifier.

The two teams are going into Wednesday's encounter on the back of comfortable wins in their first match, making the contest a delicately poised one.

While the team from Nigeria whitewashed their Togolese opponent, Athleta Ladies FC 5-0, the Ghanaian representative ease passed Burkina Faso side, Union Sportive des Forces (USFA) Armees by 3-0.

Head to Head

The two teams have no record of past meetings, but the rivalry between the two countries(Nigeria and Ghana) from which the two teams come from may set up a mouthwatering game.

Players to watch

For Nigeria, the double brace heroine in the game against Athleta, Edim Edidiong comes to mind as one to watch. Her pace and eye for goal will a source of worry for her opponents.

Joseph Miracle, one of the goal scorers and woman of the match in Bayelsa's last win is another player the Ghanaians should be wary of.

Elizabeth Owusua of Ghana has proven to be reliable when it comes to scoring goals for the team. She scored a brace prior to the start of the qualifiers against the Togolese women national team in a friendly and scored the first goal in Ampem's last match.

Constance Agymeng is another name amongst others that can hurt the Nigerian team. She was the player of the match in the last game.

Expectations

Definitely, it is expected that the two best teams from the group going by the results of the first games, will be neck to neck against each other, making the tie a difficult call to make.

If any of the team is to win, it may be a slim else we may be heading for a score draw at the end of the day.

The tie will take place at the Stade De Yammosoukro in Cote D'Ivoire at 7PM Nigeria time.
