Wolves, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are involved in a three-way chase for the signature of the Merseyside giants striker Divock Origi this transfer window.

The 26-year-old centre-forward clearly has no future at Anfield, with the German tactician set to thin out his squad despite lingering doubts over Liverpool’s lack of activity in the transfer market.

Origi is reportedly valued at £20m, though, meaning his departure should serve as a major financial boost for Liverpool, perhaps even aiding them in their pursuit of top targets this transfer window. The Hammers had already begun negotiations with the Reds over Divock’s possible switch to London.

Belgium international was identified as the desired alternative for Michail Antonio, who stays West Ham United’s only viable option in the number nine position. But it appears West Ham United are set to face stiff competition from league rivals Crystal Palace and Wolves in the pursuit of the Belgian striker.
