Giovanni Simeone, son of Atletico Madrid boss and former Argentina international Diego, has reportedly been targeted bt West Ham. Despite having scored just six goals in 33 caps for Cagliari this season, Simeone grants a valuable pressing effort, so the Hammers continue keeping an eye on him. According to Sky Sport, West Ham have placed a £1m bid for a loan with an option for a permanent deal, but neither Cagliari nor the fans are enthusiastic about this. The Rossoblu would rather keep Simeone in, or let him out for a higher transfer fee.
