Teden Mengi, a Manchester United defender, was ecstatic to be part of senior England training this week.

Mengi bolstered Gareth Southgate's options during the last several days, according to the Manchester Evening News, as they played matches against Andorra and Hungary in World Cup qualification.

Mengi, 19, was chosen in England's U20 team for their own matches during the international calendar before being invited to practice with the senior group at St. George's Park.

"Opportunities you only dream of as a young boy," Mengi tweeted on Wednesday. "It's been an honour to train with the seniors during this international break.

"Back to club football now with motivation on a different level!"
