PREMIER - Raphinha fails Liverpool transfer audition

Raphinha failed to impress for Leeds United as Liverpool nullified the Brazilian star at Elland Road. Jurgen Klopp got to see the winger up close following the report that emerged earlier in the week that the Reds were tracking the 24-year-old.
It's claimed the Anfield club scouted him for the first time in 2016 at the Copa Sao Paulo junior football tournament and have been keeping an eye on him ever since. Raphinha was a standout performer for Marcelo Bielsa's men last season and has carried that form into the new Premier League campaign.
As reported by The Mirror, he attracted attention from a host of clubs in the summer and has been tipped to join Liverpool if Mohamed Salah leaves the club.
But on Sunday's showing against the Reds, there was nothing to shout home about as the forward was kept very quiet.
Andy Robertson matched up with Raphinha in the first half and got the better of the Leeds man as he struggled to get into the game. The winger usually skips past players with ease, but the Liverpool left-back had him under control.
