According to Toulouse-based La Depeche, French striker Odsonne Edouard has yet to pay a €24,000 fine imposed earlier this year after firing at a passer-by with an airsoft gun in Toulouse in 2017.

The attacker, who just completed a deadline-day deal to Crystal Palace from Celtic, having previously spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Toulouse from PSG. Edouard had fired at a 62-year-old man's ear on the street, deafening him in one ear.

The striker received a four-month suspended jail sentence and a €6,000 fine after his loan was cancelled by Toulouse. Following an appeal, the sentence was upheld a year later.

In April of this year, an absent Edouard was subjected to a €24,000 fine. The victim's lawyers have yet to hear from Edouard, who has also failed to exhibit signs of life to his own counsel.

The victim of the attack has now written to Toulouse, which got €80,000 from the Frenchman's most recent transfer, requesting an address to which he may send a bailiff.
