Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be offered a new deal by Manchester United. According to Daily Telegraph, the coach will be offered a three-year contract and summer signings in the transfer market spearheaded by outgoing executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward despite the club finishing the season without a trophy.

The Norwegian has one season left on his current deal and will open talks over an extension. The 48-year-old will also be supported with up to four signings to bolster his squad in an attempt to close the gap with champions Manchester City.
