Oghenekaro Etebo will jet out to Portugal from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos in the early hours of Friday morning to resume pre-season training at CD Feirense.

After spending his holiday in Nigeria, the attacking midfielder would have joined the Portuguese club earlier than now but was only issued his traveling document by the Portuguese embassy in Abuja on Monday, July 4.

In line with the invitation letter sent by the Nigeria Football Federation to CD Feirense, Etebo is expected to join the Dream Team VI in the United States on July 24 before proceeding to Brazil five days later.

The former Warri Wolves star assisted CD Feirense clinch promotion to the Primeira Liga at the end of last season, scoring one goal and notching two assists in four appearances in the second-tier.

The 20-year-old is in good condition fitness-wise having trained with the Nigeria U23s before their trip to Atlanta, USA for a get-together ahead of the Olympics.
