Rewrite Bad day at the office as Nigeria internationals, Kelechi Iheancho and Chidera Ejuke made debut for Sevilla in a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Iheanacho and Ejuke joined the Rojiblancos on a free transfer this summer.

Ejuke was left on the bench in Sevilla’s 2-2 draw against Las Palmas last weekend.

Iheanacho was, however, not included in the matchday squad.

While both players started from the bench and the Rojibaloncis holding on to a 1-1 draw, pushing for a win in front of their home fans, coach Garcia Pimienta introduced Ejuke and Iheanacho respectively, with 16 and 13 minutes to go.

Rather than the substitutes changing the complexion of the game the visitors through former Arsenal forward, Ayoze Perez got a late winner.

Up next for Sevilla is an away trip to Mallorca in the Spanish La Liga.
