Paul Onuachu, who has been sidelined due to injury since fracturing his left arm during Trabzonspor's Turkish Cup quarter-final clash with Istanbul Basaksehir in February, is set to make a comeback, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Southampton loanee, initially expected to return for the game against Sivasspor two weeks ago, remained on the sidelines.

However, the 29-year-old was recently spotted in training with his Trabzonspor teammates on Wednesday, hinting at his imminent return to action.

The Nigerian international's absence has been felt, having missed the club's last five league games.

Onuachu has been a prolific striker for Trabzonspor, tallying 12 goals in just 17 league appearances.

As Trabzonspor gears up for their upcoming Turkish Super Lig clash against Kayserispor, Onuachu's return brings a boost to the team's attacking prowess.
