OT12 Foundation CEO celebrates Football loving Governor Seyi Makinde on his re-election into office
Having transformed Sports, especially football since his took over the leadership of Oyo State, it is no surprising that football loving Nigerians are celebrating Engr. Seyi Makinde for his re-election into office as the governor of Oyo State, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
Latest to join the list of well-wishers is Olayinka Toheeb Awoniyi CEO of OT12 Foundation, a Charity Organisation who in time past have organized football competition at the grassroot level.
Speaking about the governor's achievement in his first four years, Olayinka Awoniyi describes him as a Sport loving governor who has given the youths an enabling environment to thrive in their choice of Sports.
"When you look at the 36 states abd FCT inclusive in the last four years, you'll notice that Oyo State is among the top 3 if not even number one in Youth and Sports Development," he said.
"Talking a brief look at what he, Engr. Seyi Makinde has done within a short time, its really commendable and I am not surprised he won the heart of the people who joyfully re-elected him to office.
"Remodeling of Adamasingba Stadium and 6 other stadia in Oyo State, prompt payment of Salaries for 3SC and Crown FC, rewarding the Oyo Athletes to the just conclude Festival Game and the last common wealth game and many other good things for the citizens in every sectors are just few of many he's done in the last four years," he added.
He also believes the governor will do more in his second term because he's proven to the people of Oyo State that their welfare and comfort tops his to-do list.
3SC under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde gained promotion to the NPFL while Crown FC have become a force to reckon with in the NNL.
