William D’Avila, the agent of Super Eagles’ forward Victor Osimhen, has disclosed that one of the major aims of the striker is to ensure Napoli qualify for the Champions League.

The 22-year-old who missed the club’s last two matches due to injury is reportedly eager to return to action as Napoli take on Sassuolo on Wednesday, February 3.

He suffered a head injury during their defeat to Atalanta in the Serie A last week and only managed to train on Saturday.

“Victor is fine. He trains every day and gets better. He is training in a group with his teammates. ”

"I spoke to him today and he told me that if he gets the okay from the technical and medical staff he can already play against Sassuolo. He is ready and eager to return.

“He wants to do everything to bring Napoli to the Champions League. He has been unlucky in this last period but I know him and I guarantee you that he is focused on the end of the season."

“He is motivated. He’s in good shape and as soon as he unlocks at the door, he’ll be back to the old one.”

The forward has scored twice in 16 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.

Meanwhile, Osimhen has been ranked the 98th most expensive player in the world according to the latest KPMG report published on the market value of 150 football stars.
