Ex Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has parted ways with his agent Roberto Calenda, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria international is said to be disillusioned with Calenda's handling of his transfer saga, which saw proposed moves to Al Ahli and Chelsea fall through on deadline day.

Osimhen reportedly took matters into his own hands, negotiating a loan move to Galatasaray without Calenda's involvement.

The deal, facilitated by Turkish intermediary George Gardi, will see Osimhen join the Turkish side until the end of the season, with a break clause in January.

Calenda faced widespread criticism on social media for his perceived incompetence in handling Osimhen's transfer, prompting the striker to sever ties with his agent.

Osimhen's move to Galatasaray is seen as a temporary solution, with top European clubs likely to revive their interest in the striker in January.
