Osimhen confirms Spalletti’s speech in training
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen earlier today trained again as the Serie A league leaders prepare for the first leg of the Round of 16 tie against Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The inform striker was suspected to have sustained an injury over the weekend in the game against Sassuolo. Although the the striker scored the second goal in the 2-0 victory but needed to be taken off as a cautious measure.
Spalletti however after the game claimed the injury was nothing on the 24 year old.
“For what was assessed there straight away, it doesn’t look like anything special, just a bit of tiredness because he can’t spare himself.” Spalletti said after the game.
The former Lille striker further proved right his manager to day when he trained fully with the rest of the team.
Osimhen has scored once in three appearances in the Champions League this season but his 18 goals in 19 league games makes him a threat to any defense.
