Osimhen arrives in Nigeria, puts transfer speculation to rest
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has returned to Nigeria amidst intense speculation surrounding his future, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.
The 25-year-old spent the last season on loan at Galatasaray and is expected to leave Napoli this summer.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen will soon inform clubs of his decision.
Al-Hilal is reportedly keen on signing the striker, with medical tests already booked in anticipation of a deal.
Romano wrote on X: "Victor Osimhen arrives in Nigeria today from Istanbul as he will inform clubs of his decision soon. Al Hilal are prepared to seal the deal with medical tests booked to bring him to the FIFA Club World Cup… waiting for his final decision by tomorrow."
The development comes as Osimhen's future has been the subject of much speculation, with Al-Hilal having previously had offers turned down.
