Osadiaye Out Of Etoile Second Leg Tie
Enyimba winger Joseph Osadiaye has been ruled of Wednesday's CAF Champions League fixture against Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia due to suspension.
Osadiaye who has been a regular member of the Peoples Elephant squad since his switch from Warri Wolves at the start of this campaign was booked for the second time in the competition in the first leg clash at the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium which Enyimba won 3-0 courtesy of Mfon Udoh's hat-trick
In his absence, the Aba giants head coach, Paul Aigbogun, could hand Ezekiel Bassey his first start in the competition.
Bassey, a regular member of the title-winning squad last term, has struggled to pin down a regular shirt this time around due to the impressive form of the likes of Osadiaye, Mfon Udoh, Chukwude Stephen and Christian Pygbara.
Enyimba have recently been boosted by the return to training of star midfielder, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu.
Ibenegbu who missed training for few days due to food poisoning trained with the rest of the squad at the Agege Stadium on Saturday.
The second leg clash is billed for the Olympic Stadium in Sousse on Wednesday. The match will start at 6pm Nigerian time.
The winners are guaranteed of a place in the group stage of the competition.
