Nigeria Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade has spoken of the team's readiness for the Paris Olympic Games billed to start in six days time, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ajibade says the team can replicate the same performance shown at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia against the World powers in Women's Football.

The Athletico De Madrid femino forward suggests no fear from the team as she states that for the team to be the best it as to beat the best.

"We did it in the World Cup. They were great and amazing teams in the World Cup. We had Australia, Ireland, England, all of those teams in the World Cup. If we want to be one of the best teams, we must be ready to compete with the best teams irrespective of the name, the country and all of that."

Ajibade further states that the Nigeria Women National team has the talent and all it takes for confidence to be repose in them to do well in Paris.

"We got the talent, we've got the quality. We might not all be on the same level, but we have to trust we have. We have the talent, the squad the team. To be honest, we are ready and we will give it out best. It is an opportunity to show that we are a good team." She said.

The Super Falcons are expected in Bordeaux, France on Friday as they get ready for their first match against Brazil at the Stade Bordeaux.
