FC Barcelona have  made a second bid for RB Leipzig forward Dani Olmo, valued at £55 million. Following the likely retention of Nico Williams by Bilbao for at least another season, the Blaugrana are now focusing their efforts on another key player from Spain's European Championship-winning squad. The offer details include an initial payment of £42.2 million (€50 million), rising to £55 million (€65 million) with bonuses.

According to Sky Sport, Leipzig is seriously considering this offer. Personal terms with the 26-year-old Spaniard still need to be finalized, but no major issues are expected. Barcelona remain confident in securing the European champion. Notably, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco has stayed in Europe to finalize the deal rather than accompanying the team on their US tour.

However, recent comments from Leipzig's sporting director Rouven Schröder might not reassure Barcelona. "Dani is valuable to us, both as a player and a person. We have no pressure to sell him. As things stand, we expect him to return after the holidays," Schröder stated in a recent interview.
