In view of the ruling passed by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Competition Judge, LaLiga hereby states that it is the only competent organisation able to set dates and times in the national professional football competition. As such, the schedules already indicated by LaLiga for the first matchdays of the competition will be those in which the matches will be played.

LaLiga confirms that a judicial hearing has been scheduled for 7 August with the objective of resolving this accusation from the RFEF with regard to LaLiga's competence in this matter and also with regard to the value of the audiovisual rights of the associated clubs and SADs (public limited sports companies), endangering compliance with the contracts currently signed with national and international operators to the sum of more than 2 billion Euros. The tenders for awarding said contracts were approved by the Audiovisual Rights Control Body, according to article 7 of the RD Law 5/2015, with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) present on the aforementioned control committee and who, despite having the opportunity to raise an objection, made no statement regarding said competences.
