Lazio have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru on a loan deal with an option to buy from Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 23-year-old has joined the Italian capital club on an initial loan move, with an obligation to make the deal permanent if certain sporting conditions are met.

Dele-Bashiru on Friday has his medical in Rome the Serie A side on it X platform confirm his acquisition on Saturday afternoon with the caption “welcome Fisayo Dele-Bashiru”

Reports suggest that Lazio have paid a fee of around €2m to secure the loan, with a further €4m to be paid to make the deal permanent.

Dele-Bashiru, who joined Hatayspor as a free agent in 2023, is under contract in Turkey until 2026, but will be entering the final year of his deal at the end of the 2024-25 season.
