OFFICIAL - International Mexican defender signs with Monterrey

In a tweet on their official Twitter account, Monterrey officially announced that they have signed Mexican international centre-back, Hector Moreno.

The 33-year old veteran joins Rayados on a free transfer after his contract with Qatar side Al-Gharafa SC expired. He also played for Pumas, AZ Alkmaar, PSV Eindhoven, Roma, Espanyol and Real Sociedad. He will now be coached by Javier Aguirre again, after the experienced manager had Moreno under him while on the Mexican National Team and at Espanyol. He was picked as a replacement to Argentine Nico Sanchez, who is set to leave the club in this transfer window.
