Nasarawa Amazons got a vital win against Ibom Angels FC in Uyo in the Nigeria Women's Football League match day 11 encounter on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Amazons pipped the Angels by a lone goal scored by Ayatsea Hembafan at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

After a barren first half, the Nasarawa based went ahead three minutes before the start of the second half as Hembafan scored.

All efforts to comeback to the game proved futile for the Host as they lost their first place position in group B.
