Nigeria striker Anthony Nwakaeme is in buoyant mood for Hapoel Beer Sheva’s Europa League game with Inter Milan on Thursday after hitting a hat-trick for his club in the Israeli league last weekend.

Nwakaeme is in good form going into the Europa League game against the Italian giants at San Siro after his goals against Bnei Sakhnin helped his side to an emphatic win.

Hapoel Beer Sheva will travel to Milan for a date with Inter, a game Nwakaeme told supersport.com he is looking forward to.

“I thank God for the goals in the league. It is morale boosting for me because my confidence is high at the moment and hopefully I score again on Thursday,” he said.

“The game against Sakhnin is gone now and we are focused against Inter Milan. It will be good to go there and get something on board.

“I must commend my teammates for their support and also the fans for their encouragement. We are focused on the game on Thursday and by God’s grace we shall make the fans smile."

Nwakaeme scored 11 goals last season for Beer Sheva as his teammate, Nigerian midfielder John Ogu, picked up the best foreigner award.
