It was another interesting match day as the Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) took centre stage at match venues.

There was first time win for Akwa United, first point for Rangers of Enugu, first win for Doma United and first loss for Abia Warriors.

Akwa United were too much to handle for the Nasarawa United as they defeated them by three goals to nil.

James Ajako opened score in the 43rd minute, before Ndifreke Effiong's brace in the 47th and 74th minutes sealed the win for Deji Ayeni's men.

Enyimba scored first through Chibuike Nwaiwu, but Emmanuel Ifeanyi drew level for the home side Plateau United before a dead minute heartbreak for Enyimba as Kazeem Ogunleye scored the winner to end 2-1.

Imade Osarenkhoe's 25th-minute header, his third goal of the season handed Bendel Insurance another victory on the road against Kwara United as they keep the perfect record in tact.

Kumara Suur’s strike five minutes before the hour mark condemned Abia Warriors to their first defeat of the the season as Lobi Stars made it back to back win.

Emmanuel Ogwuche's 55th goal gave host Doma United their first win of the season, condemning Dakkada to their first lost of the season.
