Lobi Stars suffered their biggest defeat of the season on Sunday losing 3-0 to Bayelsa United in Yenagoa, a result which has not gone down well with the supporters and administrators of the club, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Although the remain top of group B, it a defeat which could have been avoided according to the club's chairman Dominic Iorfa.

He how've accepted the blame for the team's defeat claiming it was due to administrative errors which could've been avoided.

While acknowledging the performance of the players, Iorfa assured the supporters of better results in subsequent games and reiterated his commitment to ensuring Lobi Stars secure a playoff ticket at the end of the season

He also maintained that the quest for a continental ticket at the playoffs remains the objective of his administration.
