An evening of fours: Bendel Insurance winless runs extend to four. Dakkada FC end four games winless run as Doma United suffered first loss in four games.

Dele Aiyenugba was on a superlative form as Kwara United earn a point away at Benin to keep their survival hope alive, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The former Super Eagles goalie stole the show with outstanding safes to deny Benin Insurance their 8th win of the campaign.

Coming from the back of three games draws, Insurance were hoping to do a double over Kwara United having defeated them 1-0 earlier in the season but it was a different twist.

With the first 45 minutes ending goaless, Kwara United opened through a well taken free-kick by Mohammed Alao.

Deputy Echeta bridged Aiyenugba's wall 10 minutes later to ensure the spoils were shared at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.

With the game finishing 1-1, Insurance are now winless in four games although still unbeaten in the league as Kwara United consolidated on their 1-0 home loss to Shooting Stars in Akure last weekend.

Elsewhere, Dakkada FC ended their four games winless run as the pip Doma United by a lone goal at the Godswill Apkabio stadium, Uyo.

It was Doma United's first defeat in four games.

Eight games to be played today Sunday 9th April, 2023.
