Wikki Tourists are no doubt still basking in the euphoria of the away win they secured last weekend in Warri.

The draw against Wolves saw them reclaim the top spot which Rangers had temporarily occupied.

Wikki are occupying the first position with 43 points after playing 26 games. The Bauchi based outfit will be away in Minna this weekend where they will lock horns with Niger Tornadoes in search of the maximum three points.

Indeed, this weekend’s encounters promise to be entertaining and at the same time crucial for Wikki, Rangers and Rivers United as a slip by any of them will definitely alter the equation of things at the top.

Rangers go into their away game against Akwa United with the hope of getting a result as that is what they need to dethrone Wikki. But the Flying Antelopes are going into the Uyo game still writhing in the pains of their Federation Cup surprise loss to Crown FC midweek.

Coach Imama Amakakpabo would need to properly psyche up his boys if their woes must not be compounded by Akwa United. Rivers United who on the other hand are still basking in the euphoria of their 1- 0 win over Niger Tornadoes last week, will seek to consolidate things at home as they welcome Shooting Stars. A win for Rivers Utd will definitely threaten the leadership of Wikki and Rangers.
