Katsina United goalkeeper, Umar Yusuf has disclosed his dream to win the first edition of the npfl U17 Youth League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The youngster who emerged man of the match in their win over Ranger International FC on Monday in match day 2 fixture of the National Youth Championship spoke of his desire.

"Honestly it will be a thing of great pride and joy if my team can win the Npfl U17 Youth League playoffs here in Benin".

"It has really been an interesting adventure for us coming here to represent our darling state but we don't want it to end just at that".

Katsina United defeated by a goal to nil courtesy of Umar Muhammad, but Yusuf's saves in the game and from the spot proved vital for a win against the Eastern side.

"The lost against Plateau United has gingered us to come all out as we aim to win all our remaining matches".

The young goal keeper rounded up by praising his coaches and teammates for the show of trust and love for him.
