NPFL to Honour Yusuf Anas and Daniel Ogunmodede in Abuja
Top performers in the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), striker Yusuf Anas and coach Daniel Ogunmodede, will be officially rewarded on Tuesday, September 2, in Abuja, writes Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The award ceremony, earlier delayed due to their involvement with the CHAN Eagles, was confirmed by NPFL Chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye, who noted that the initiative reflects the league board’s commitment to rewarding excellence.
“It has been our policy to encourage players, coaches, and clubs to elevate the quality of our league through outstanding performances. We consistently reward our best clubs, highest goal scorers, and top coaches in conjunction with our investment partner, GTI Assets Management,” Elegbeleye stated.

Anas, who emerged as the top scorer with 17 goals for Nasarawa United, and Ogunmodede, who guided Remo Stars to their first-ever NPFL title, will each receive ?1.5 million and a commemorative plaque.
