Bendel Insurance goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has signed a two-year contract with Fasil Ketema FC in Ethiopia, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Obasogie, who won the Golden Glove award in the Nigeria Premier Football League last season with 18 clean sheets, opted for a move abroad despite interest from Enyimba and Rivers United.

The 24-year-old shot stopper got his maiden call up to the Super Eagles last November.

Obasogie's move marks the second time a Nigerian player has joined Fasil Ketema FC, following in the footsteps of former Sunshine Stars forward Okiki Afolabi.
