NPFL: Nasarawa United plan to stay afloat in time of relegation
Relegation batting Nigeria Professional Football League side, Nasarawa United will do everything humanly possible to avoid going down as they fight for a place outside the relegation zone, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
After eleven matches, Nasarawa United are ninth in group A, with two wins and sevens defeats.
Although their last five games have seen the Solid Miners won two games and also played a draw against Enyimba.
So as they face El-Kanemi Warriors on Matchday 12 today, Nasarawa United captain, King Osanga claimed his have “the ability to maintain our stay in the Premier league.”
“We (Players) have the ability to maintain our stay in the Premier League,” Osanga told Daily Posts.
“Our last performance against Enyimba showed how determined we are to achieve this feat.
“All we need to do today against El- Kanemi Warriors is to play with caution and not underrate them because of their recent poor results.”
